Tamil Actress Asin doesn’t mind being overshadowed by Aamir Khan

Asin is all set to make a big mark in Bollywood by starring opposite Aamir Khan in the most awaited movie of the year Ghajini.

However Asin knows her place and is aware that Aamir is going to hog all the attention, she says, “I obviously know that Aamir will outshine me. The film is about Sanjay Singhania; Aamir is the central part… I am just glad that I have a small role in this big project.”

When quizzed about playing a small role, she says, “How can that even be an issue? Aamir Khan is such a fabulous actor, that anyone would give an arm and a leg to share the frame with him. I shouldn’t and don’t have ego hassles, and instead am thanking my stars that I got to be part of such a project.”

Well it’s good that she is well aware of Aamir’s charm at the box-office before the release of the flick.

Vijay next venture “Vettaikaran” Illeana or Asin

As Vijay next venture “Vettaikaran” producers are in search of heroines as Asin call sheet being a doubt.

Even the producer’s make efforts to put Asin as heroine for the actor but Asin on the other hand take this project as secondary alone as already being committed for a Hindi film with Salman Khan. The AVM producers were shy to put Nayanthara in Asin’s spot as she was already doing a film with Vijay for “Villu” which may bore the viewers and audience.

Because of this reason the producers is now looking for actress Illeana and any other North Indian Models. For the new comers sure it will be a great start!!!

It was said that after “Villu” movie Vijay will do the “Muratukalai” film for AVM but the latest is that the movie of AVM is “Vettaikaran”. Asin, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan sold for Rs 120 crores

Can you believe Rights of unshot Bollywood film sold for Rs 120 crores ?

Worldwide distribution rights of Asin, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan starrer bollywood film London Dreams to be directed by Vipul Shah have been sold for huge Rs 120 crore!

This movie is said to be the first film in Bollywood to cross the Rs 100 crore mark, which includes satellite, theatrical, video and music rights.

London Dreams has Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan in the lead with Asin and shooting is expected to start in September to be shot mainly in London. The producer-director’s earlier films include the recent hit Singh is Kinng , Aankhein, Waqt — Race Against Time and Namaste London.

Timesofindia quoted that Vipul Shah as saying from London

It is definitely the best period for the Indian film industry and personally for my films, This deal has really brought me immense joy. I am told it is the highest ever in the history of Bollywood, which makes me even more proud.

Asin Next With Vijay Flim

Asin is busy in acting Bollywood films and her “Ghajini” in Hindi is yet to complete with two songs to shoot. Asin lastly acts for “Dasavatharam” which she acts a year back. Now she is in a position to act in Tamil films at that time she is in search of films. Vijay Villu film with Nayanthara project will finish within this year. After that Vijay will do a film for AVM banner.

AVM project is searching for heroines first they decide to put Nayanthara for Vijay but already she has been included in “Villu” AVM steps backward.

The recent buzzes are that Asin is likely to play in the AVM banner with Vijay. Hope Asin will come back in Kollywood again???

Kamal Hassan And Asin to play Japanese Films

It is more expected that Kamal Hassan Jackie Chan will be acting together for a movie but this time with Tadanobu Asano one of the finest actors of Japanese Films. Kamal is keen on preparing busy schedules for the “Marmayogi” movie on the meantime Bharath Bala the producer of A.R.Rahman Musical “Vande Matharam” and “Jana Gana Mana” album had approached Kamal Hassan for a Japanese English based movie.

According to a source the film will be based on 9th century in which Kamal to play the role of Karalipayat(Kerala) Guru and Japanese actor will be playing as his disciple. Actress Asin is likely to play as a Queen falling in love at first sight with young warrior. The movie name is titled as “19 Steps” A.R.Rahman to score the music with Director Cum Producer Bharath Bala. The whole team is waiting for a good reply from Kamal Hassan. If Kamal agrees the film will commence on next year after the completion of Marmayogi.

Asin Next With Salman Khan

Asin announced her second Hindi project after the movie Ghajini officially. She will play heroine in Salman Khan starring big budget movie London Dreams. The movie will be directed by Vipul Shah, the director of films like Aankhein and Namaste London.
Asin has played the female lead opposite Aamir Khan in Ghajini, the remake of a Tamil film of the same name. Earlier, the actor told that she would announce her next Hindi movie only after the release of Ghajini. But due to the unusual delay (the film was launched in 2006) in the release of Ghajini, the actress announced her next venture.

According to sources, the actress is also tipped to play heroine of two more Bollywood movie and a Hollywood.

Actress Asin Pairs International actor Jackie Chan

Asin who appeared for the film “Dasavatharam” with Universal Hero Kamal Hassan as a pair attracts many. The beauty from God’s own Country Asin is currently busy with Hindi films. Tamil Actress Asin Rises on Bollywood Films

Asin, 26, Malayalee who was born and brought up in Cochin is set to make her Bollywood debut with Ghajini, opposite Aamir Khan. Asin also tarred in the Tamil and Telugu versions of Ghajini earlier.

Even before the release of Ghajini, Asin has been signed up for two more Bollywood films– Aise Ko Taisa directed by Priyadarshan with co-stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal; and London Dreams directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah with co-stars Ajay Devgan, Lara Dutta, Salman Khan and Urmila Matondkar.

Kollywood beauty Queen Asin is set to storm Hindi

Kollywood beauty Queen Asin is set to storm Hindi films with Ghajini opposite Aamir Khan after conquering Telugu and Tamil cinema. Ask her if she is set to become next big Bollywood’s diva from the South, and the actress giggles in embarrassment, “I’m a long way from getting anywhere near Hema, Rekha and Sridevi. But I feel hugely welcome in Mumbai. I don’t know why filmmakers are showing so much interest in me.” Asin (pronounced Ah-sin) she explains her name: “Asin is coined from Sanskrit and English. It means ‘sinless’... like ‘Amala’… without blemish. I hope I live up to my name in Mumbai.”

For now, Mumbai is her home. “But only because my immediate commitments are in Mumbai,” she clarifies. “I’m the brand ambassador for six multi-national companies and the ads need to be shot in Mumbai. Now there are Hindi films too. ”Fortunately, Asin speaks Hindi without that Southern twang that is even now so pronounced in Hema. “I’ve never used a dubbing artiste for any of my films, not even for the Hindi ads, and I’m speaking in my own voice in my first Hindi film Ghajini,” she claims. “In these days of globalisation, I don’t think language is a barrier. I’m interested in films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and any other language as long as the projects are exciting.”

She’s aware her shift to Mumbai has given rise to rumours that she’s giving up on South Indian cinema. “That’s untrue,” says Asin defensively. “Whatever I’m today is because of Tamil and Telegu cinema. Why am I expected to choose between Mumbai and the South?”

After Shah Rukh’s wife Gauri Khan, it is Bollywood hotties and best lookers Hrithik Roshan , Asia’s sexiest woman Bipasha Basu’s now it is Malayalam beauty Asin turn to adorn the cover of fashion magazine Vogue ’s 2008 July edition.
