Actor Hrithik Roshan is back to work on July
Hrithik Roshan gets to back to work on July 15th when he will fly to New Mexico to shoot for Kites. Kangana Ranaut and Mexican hottie Barbara Moris are his co-stars in the film directed by Anurag Kashyap.Says a source, “His second son Hridhaan was born on June 1 so he wanted to spend time with his family due to which he skipped all award functions that were held abroad and refused work that kept him away from home for long periods of time but now he is ready.”
On the shooting schedule, the source reveals, “Hrithik, his father Rakesh and Anurag Kashyap will fly to New Mexico in mid-July to personally oversee the building of the sets. The shooting will start on the 25th. Kites will be shot across New Mexico, Los Angeles, Arizona and Las Vegas.”
Further, Hrithik’s manager informs us, “Kites has a 3 month long schedule in the States and another 2 month long schedule in Mumbai will complete the film. Hrithik is not doing anything after that.”
Director Anurag Basu is obviously excited about his high flying venture but remains tight lipped about the plot and the reason behind the film’s title. “Kites have a poetic and chronological significance in the movie is all that I can say. Once you see the promo, you will understand the reason behind the title,” says Basu.
Reports claim that the movie is inspired by Woody Allen’s adulterous drama Match Point. Hrithik’s character is like a kite which keeps wandering but always flies high. He has a mistress and a wife portrayed by Kangana and Barbara respectively.
Mr. Basu has also rubbished reports that Hrithik will speak in an American accent in Kites. He clarifies, “Hrithik is not learning to speak in the American accent for Kites. Even the actresses are not learning anything special or new to prepare for the role. They are holidaying and relaxing before filming begins in July end.”
This year, Hrithik wooed audiences with his portrayal of Emperor Akbar in the love saga Jodhaa Akbar; he showed off his super smooth dance moves in the Krazzy 4 video and performed some dangerous stunts in a few commercials. He also shot for his guest appearance in Zoya Akthar’s Luck By Chance in Mumbai.

I had to pay Ram Sampath Rs 2 crores
"We took a NOC from Sony-Erricson and on 13 December 2008 they gave me a letter of consent. I went about this the right way. My conscience is clear.
Towards the end of March I was told the tune belongs to Ram Sampath and not Sony-Erricson. Not in my wildest dreams could I doubt the company's intentions. I was misinformed. I was in a crisis situation and had no choice but to pay up the Rs 2 crores that was asked of me.
I'd like to ask Ram Sampat one thing. If his tune was the same as the one in Krazzy 4 wouldn't it have been an equally big hit when it was played as part of the cellphone ad campaign? That too had Hrithik dancing in it…
Yes the main hookline is the same. And if Ram Sampat sensed an irregularity why did he wait until my film's release was around the corner?
He could have come to me when the film's music released at the end Fenruary and made his claim. Why wait for the last minute when the film's was about to be released?
I suspect they were preparing their case for very long. On Monday I was suddenly faced with this crisis. What could I do but pay up?"
Rakesh Roshan clears his brother composer Rajesh Roshan's name. " Let me state my brother Rajesh Roshan had no hand on this. I told Rajesh to use that portion of the song. He asked me to take a NOC which I did.
We don't have to stoop as low as to cheat anyone.If the prints of the film hadn't been sent off I could've cut the song.
But I cannot betray my distributors and audiences. I've a massive responsibility towards them. I could do nothing but go for a settlement. I had to pay Rs 2 crores. What to do? I'm not angry or upset.
It just hurts me that I was subjected to this for no fault of mine. One thing is for sure. The doors have opened now to anyone who wants make a claim over anyone's work. Fortunately Krazzy 4 has opened very well."

It’s raining item numbers in Krazzy 4 Hrithik Roshan
It’s raining item numbers in Krazzy 4. It started with Shahrukh Khan, then Rakhi Sawant and now, it’s Hrithik Roshan. It seems that producer Rakesh Roshan is leaving no stone unturned to promote his movie.
Hrithik Roshan said in an interview that his number in the movie is better than SRK and Rakhi’s. What do we smell here? Probably papa Rakesh Roshan had saved the best for his son.
