Turning the entire world towards to his side with the appealing blockbuster 'Dasavatharam', Padmashri Kamal Haasan is set to kick-start with his next project 'Marmayogi'. Kamal Haasan is sure about the film happening to be another magnum opus. In the initial stages, he wanted to launch the film at Grand Hotel, Mumbai on July 13 and then postponed to 25th. Things got delayed since Padmashri was involved in making teaser for the film.
Now, he has planned to start off with the shooting without having a formal launch. First shooting schedule will be held at Sweden where a battle sequence involving huge crowd will be shot. Marmayogi is a tale about a youngster in 7th Century who leads his entire empire to revolt against their opponent who were responsible for the dynasty's downfall. Kamal Haasan says "Marudhanayagam will be soon"
Heaped with laurels for his magnum opus Dasavatharam, Kamal Haasan made his visit to Hyderabad to promote the film. However, he was more enthralled with the fact that the film has witnessed a grand opening, Kamal Haasan was more delighted. Speaking to the occasion, he said that his next project Marmayogi will be more grander than this one. Also when asked about his dream project Marudhanayagam, Padmashri uttered that success of Dasavatharam has really encouraged him and soon after completing Marmayogi, his ultimate project would be Maruthanayagam.

Onscreen presence for Rajini and Kamal
Super star Rajinikanth and Ulaga Nayagan Kamal are set to create a frenzy of excitement even if they share the screen space even for a single shot. There were already rumors like wild fire that Rajini and Kamal will act in a movie together, but that never materialized.
Now the buzz is that director P.Vasu is trying to rope in Kamal Hassan to do a guest role for a scene in the movie Kuselan. It’s a known fact that Rajinikanth acts as a superstar in the movie and on the producers demand, there is going to be a scene where Superstar Rajinikanth will receive an award. The director and the producers are trying to rope in Kamal to give that award to Rajini in the movie.

As the title suggest, KS Ravikumar's grand venture Dashaavtaram
features Kamal Haasan in ten different characters with Asin in the
female lead.
One of Kamal's characters takes us back to the 12th century. The
shooting for eight out of the ten characters is complete. The whole
sequence was completed in Chidambaram and they used as many as two
