Most of the top heroines once settled in marital bliss land up in Television. Latest to join the list of heroines who have turned to television serials is Sonia Agarwal, wife of director Selvaraghavan.
She will be shooting for a yet to be titled serial to be aired in Kalaignar TV and to be produced by Kushboo. She will portray the roll of Radhika a soft yet strong and glamourous lady. Sonia Agrawal made her debut in Kathal Kondein directed by Selvaraghavan. She then went on to a few more movies like 7G Rainbow Colony, Thiruttu Payale, Pudhupettai and then settled in marital bliss with director Selvarahavan.
The serial was initally titiled Sathurangam but was later decided to go in for a name change. The name of the serial will be announced soon.

Heroines after entering into nuptials have something common in Kollywood and that’s they are completely erased from their hearts and minds. But Sonia Agarwal hopes something different and buzzes are that she has plans to continue acting again in films. After spending sweet moments with her mother-in-law and sister-in-law, earlier she had other plans and that’s to become a director.
In order to learn techniques of direction, she wants to assist her husband in his future projects and that includes Aayirathil Oruvan starring Paruthiveeran fame Karthi in the lead role. Now she has been getting many acting offers and that includes her father-in-law too. With entire family supporting her to get into the field again, it is only her mother-in-law who doesn’t want her to get adhered to make-ups again. We have to wait and see whether things go favourable for Sonia or not?
