Ajith Kumar Asal Start from March Confirmed

Ultimate Star Ajith Kumar 49th movie is directed by Saran and its shooting to commence from March. According to the director that he made this story a year earlier and the movie will be entirely different from other movies as he did with Ajith before.The viewers can expect a new avatar of Ajith in “Asal”.

Ajith asked the story of “Asal” in every single day now director Saran is shooting for “Modhi Vilayadu” at eye catching locations at Dubai and Finland which is going to hit theatres on April 2009. Hope “Asal” will be a key gift from director Saran to all Ajith Thala fans.

Saran roped with Ajith for his 49th project titled as “Asal”

After Director Gautham Menon withdraw from Ajith 49th project it was almost tensed moments for Sivaji Production but the scenario had changed now as Director Saran roped with Ajith for his 49th project titled as “Asal” which is produced by Sivaji Productions. There were rumours that Director Vijay, Vishnuvardhan or Dharani doing this project for Sivaji Productions.

Sameera Reddy will be playing the female lead and the music will be scored by A R Rahman or Harris Jeyaraj. Director Saran will be available only after his current movie “Modhi Vilayadu”. Both Ajith and Saran had previously given hits like “Amarkalam”, “Kadhal Mannan” and “Attagasam”.

Director Gowtham Menon next option is SilambarasanDirector

Know what’s the latest buzz in town? ‘Vaaranam Aayiram is Gowtham’s best ever film in his entire career’. Perhaps, the auteur delighted in stating the film was so close to his heart as it was inspiration from his real life incidents. Possibly, film critics and writers are always there linking somehow the films to other ones, commenting it’s a copycat work. Leave it out! The film has really touched everyone’s hearts soaking your eyes with tears and melting your hearts with emotions.

Ajith seems to be so unlucky as he has been missing out the best directors from his list. But Gowtham seems to not have been worried since he is ready to leap with more offers. Sooner, he would be completing his project Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikalam a film on call centre youngsters. Apart from this, he has joined hands for a bilingual project with UTV Productions. So, what’s his other option for refilling Ajith’s project? Sources close to him have revealed that he has discussed script with Silambarasan and the young lad has Okayed even without listening the script. Shooting for this film will hit the floors by next April and that’s when Gowtham is completed with his other projects…

Ultimate Star Ajith nearing their 50th films Confirmed

As Vijay and Ajith nearing their 50th films there were many buzzes about their next projects. According to a source that the 50th project of ultimate star would be directed by Director Venkat Prabhu and the project is likely a mixture of action with comedy and few elements that his fans love.

In an English Daily Ajith expressed his view that he chosen one to direct his 50th film and he also said that Venkat already told him a one line thread story and seems Ajith liked it a lot. Meantime Ajith will continue doing his 49th project with Gautham Vasudev Menon and Venkat Prabhu will do his pending project “Goa”. Hope Ajith’s 50th project will starts it rolling by middle of next year.

Tamil Actor Ajith and Suriya compete on weight shedding

Ajith and Suriya, the happening guys of Tamil film industry were suppose to contend for Diwali. Unfortunately, Vaaranam Aayiram moved out of the contest, postponed to November 14. Gowtham Menon who has directed Suriya and yet to wield megaphones for Ajith Kumar has insisted him to reduce the weight.

Earlier, Since Surya was portrayed in the role of a student in Vaaranam Aayiram, he was asked to shed down his weight of 15Kgs to show variations in different stages of life. With Ajith playing the role of a gangster in Gowtham’s forthcoming movie, he has been asked to reduce his 25kgs of weight.

Is that any kind of magic worked by Gowtham Menon on all his actors? Probably, you can ask him…

Ajith Aegan Movie Diwali Release

Ajith Aegan wrapped up as major part of the movie completed and there were buzzes about the audio launch of Aegan movie that it will launch its audio on September. According to a source that Yuvan Shankar Raja had delivered some of the perky numbers with some melodious tunes. Ajith wants to give his movie in good quality and he asked the Director Raju Sundaram to re-shoot some of the important scenes again.

The sources from the entire team confirm that the movie will lighten in Diwali all over the world. Actor Ajith not even given a single movie this year and his fans are unhappy about this but they are sure the treat is waiting them for on Diwali!

Actress Nayanthara the whopping Amount Rs.1.25crores

After the success of “Billa” and “Yaradi Nee Mohini”, Nayanthara had reportedly hiked her pay for a whopping 1crore for her forthcoming films “Aegan” with Ajith and Vijay for “Villu”. Currently Director Lingusamy is directing and producing a movie with “Paruthi Veeran” Karthi with Nayanthara as lead. According to a source that Lingusamy had agreed to pay the actress Rs.1.10crore even as her demand was Rs.1.25crores.

The reports say that the actress was paid whopping amount as advance. The films like “Kuselan” and “Sathyam” don’t do well at box office and asked her to reduce pay but actress Nayanthara was sticking to the whopping amount. Even she was ready to quit out of the project.

Ajith to Drop Billa Soundarya Rajinikanth

Ajith after acting the “Billa” he was connected with sequel of “Billa” for Soundarya Rajinikanth cum Warner Bros. Billa was the yesteryear movie of Superstar and it was a blockbuster movie the same movie remakes by Ajith and it also went good and considered to be a come back movie for Ajith. After the success of Ajith’s Billa Soundarya Rajinikanth had decided to produce Billa sequel in which Ajith lead the role with VishnuVardhan as Director.

Soundarya after speaking with Warner Bros it was decided to fix Ajith salary as 10crores. The Billa sequel was officially confirmed but Ajith has planned to step down from the project now. There were many buzzes about Ajith decision but it is known that Vishnuvardhan asked 10crores for doing this project. Soundarya doesn’t agree for Vishnu’s salary because of this Ajith step down from this project for the change of the director. Still it was unconfirmed soon the truth will be unveiled.

Simbu Ajith in Billa get-up in for Silambattam

Simbu is a huge fan of Ultimate star Ajit. Vallavan saw Silambarasan play a youth who admires Ajith while his Kaalai featured him with a few scenes with posters of Ajith.

Now he has gone step ahead and will have Billa look of Ajit for his latest film Silambattam. To fit Simbu’s size, Anu Vardhan the costume designer of Billa made few changes in the original suit that Ajith wore for Billa.

For sure…Simbu will have some dialogues made by Ajith in Billa for Silambattam.

Thala Ajith dual role in films rock by Aegan

For Ajith fans they have something to cheer about because he is once again appearing in a dual role for a remake film. Currently Ajith is acting for the film “Aegan” after this project he is likely to act for Sivaji films cum Soundarya Rajinikanth “Billa 2” sequel of Ajith’s Billa. After completing the project of Billa he will act for Ashok Amirtaraj film. The film is based on the Hindi film “Race” in which the storyline of the movie has two heroes one is Saif and other is Akshaye Khanna. Ashok Amritaraj plans to make the movie with two heroes but soon after watching the movie Ajith

Ajith Kumar Aegan will hit the screens for the month of September

We are sure; Thala fans should be really yearning out to watch their star's film this year. And now for those of his fans, we have the exciting story that Aegan will hit the screens for the month of September. Ayangaran International, producers of the film have come with the tentative release date of this film around 1st week of September. Shooting for the film is almost completed and soon would be completed. As known earlier, the film is a remake of Hindi blockbuster Main Hoon Naa directed by choreographer Farah Khan and for the remake its choreographer Raju Sundaram directing it. These similarities make the film more highlighted.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has completed scoring music for all the songs and soon after the shooting is completed, background scoring will get kick-started. After the release of Aegan, Ajith Kumar will join hands with Gowtham Menon for his next project and buzzes are that major portions for the film would be shot at exotic foreign locations…

Ajith Kumar Another Remake

The upcomming flick of Ajith which he is doing with Raju Sundaram is supposed to be the remake of the Bollywood blockbuster movie, Main Hoon Na. Ajith Kumar has just returned to Chennai after the first schedule of shooting for Raju Sundaram’s next movie from Hong Kong.

The buzz is that this yet to be titled movie will have the name of Ajith character in the movie as the title of the movie. Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif who is also the girl friend of Salman Khan will star opposite to Ajith in this movie.

Main Hoon Na, written and directed by Farah Khan has the story line which tells the tale of Major Ram Prasad Sharma and his efforts to foil the terrorist Raghavan . Major Sharma is simultaneously attempting to mend relations with his father’s estranged first wife and his half-brother Lakshman. He goes to the college where his half-brother is studying and falls in love with the lecturer.

Ulitmate star Ajith Kumar returned to Chennai

Ulitmate star Ajith Kumar returned to Chennai after the first schedule of shooting for Raju Sundaram’s next movie from Hong Kong. This yet to be titled movie is produced by Ayngaran International and directed by Raju Sundaram. The lead actress for the movie is still undecided with lots of names making the rounds for the role.

Initially Shriya was supposed to do the role, but later could not due to date problems and also because Ajith was not comfortable with having her in the movie. Then Bollywood bomb Bipasha basu was supposed to have signed the movie. The latest buzz is that Katrina Kaif has agreed to do the movie.

Ajith will be starting the second schedule of the movie in Chennai soon. Lets hope the director zero’s in on the heroine before the second schedule.

Ajit Starrer Billa overtakes Flash in Kerala

Billa has gone on to become a Superhit. Billa’s simultaneous release in Kerala became a impossibility due to the ban in Kerala on simultaneous release of Tamil films with Tamilnadu.

Even though it released after 2 weeks in Kerala, Billa has recieved whopping response in Kerala in all the 25 screens. Billa has grossed more in its first week in most of the stations than superstar Mohanlal’s Flash which released 2 weeks ago.

There have been good reviews in Kerala for Billa and audiences are flocking the theatres to watch the movie. Nayantara with her stylish looks has also gone on to become a superhit with the audience there.
