For her forthcoming ‘Kambakth Ishq’ Kareena Kapoor has decided to follow the looks of Sarah Jessica Parker from ‘Sex and the City’. Kareena is quoted as saying, “My looks in Kambakht Ishq will be something audiences have not seen before. It is completely different from Tashan, Golmaal Returns and Jab We Met. I play a surgeon and a supermodel in Kambakht Ishq and my styling has been done keeping my character in mind. I always discuss my roles with Lolo and when I asked her about Kambakht Ishq, she told me to get inspiration from Sarah Jessica Parker’s look in Sex And The City. Lolo loves watching TV serials and Sarah’s cool, chic, glamorous and yet simple styles”.
The movie has Kareena playing a surgeon who then gets transformed into an international supermodel in Italy. However, Kareena has decided to let go for her zero-size figure and go for a fuller look as she has to look convincing both as a surgeon and an international model.
“Yeah my character flies to Italy to become a super-model to support herself financially. I didn’t want to play the character looking like an international model because she’s basically in another profession. So she can’t really have the figure of Victoria Beckham, can she? I had to look more filled up. Again, for my next release Main Aur Mrs Khanna with Salman, I play a wife. So I wanted to look more filled up. Not that wives can’t be curvaceous. The one I played in Golmaal Returns certainly was,” says Kareena.
Now Kareena has decided to hold steady with her new weight. “I weigh 54 kgs now, which for a girl of my height is quite fine. People used to wonder what ‘Size 0′ is and I’d joke, ‘Just look at me’. I don’t want that anymore. I want to look like a nice normal healthy girl,” she says.

Saif Ali Khan feels life has never been so good, now that he has Kareena on his side. He suffered a mild heart attack in 2007 and now he is a completely changed man.
“My lifestyle has changed completely after the heart attack. Looking back it’s hard to believe I went through such a health scare. If it wasn’t for that life-changing experience, I wouldn’t be in a relationship with Kareena right now. I hardly drink. Don’t even look forward to drinking any more. I don’t smoke or party.”
So although they are officially yet to say Qubool Hai, Kareena is already an integral part of Saif’s family and Saif is an integral part of the Kapoor khandaan too.
“Yes, Kareena has been invited to Pataudi. It’d have been earlier, but it was too hot. Winter is when our family reunions happen every year. And Kareena is now part of the family. My parents are extremely fond of Kareena,” Saif.
“This relationship is ‘IT’ for me. Today I feel very settled and very happy. Though a bit lonely. And when I’ve bad days, I feel I’m being ungrateful. I’m now looking forward to settling down with Kareena. Our marriage will happen very shortly as soon as we both have a little less work on hand and we can give the marriage quality time. Also, her family has to be ready for our marriage,” he said.
Both of them are bonding well with each other’s family. Kareena has gone at lengths to make Saif feel that he is an integral part of her family too.
“We’re very close. She has been really gracious in inviting me into her family. She’s made sure I’m part of her family. I’ve also met Daboo uncle (Randhir) a few times, shared friendly drinks with him. As for Karisma, I think she’s the sweetest girl ever in the world. I’m deeply fond of both Karisma and her husband Sanjay (Kapoor). They’re truly wonderful people. Kareena’s family has taken to me as warmly as my family has taken to her,” Saif said.

In the film Strangers, presented by Sahara One’s Motion Picture Sonali Kulkarni has done the unimaginable. Sonali Kulkarni who has always got this girl next door image, has shed her inhibition and has dared to shoot semi nude in a bath tub.
Sonali Kulkarni thus joins the gang of Bollywood damsels like Mallika Sherawat, Neha Dhupia & Kareena Kapoor’s controversial backless shot in their respective films.
According to a sources in the Strangers unit, director Anand Rai felt that it was a very emotional scene in a bath tub, and it was essential for the scene to be shot. He had also informed Sonali about the semi-nude scene since it was an integral part of the film. Initially he was a bit apprehensive if Sonali Kulkarni would do the scene but to his surprise, Sonali being very professional and accommodating agreed to expose, since it was a requirement in the script. However the director ensured that only the minimal people required shooting the film were present for the particular scene,
The sources add that director Anand Rai incorporated the scene in Strangers, since it takes the story ahead. They were no intention to add sleaze since the film is not based on sleaze but a shocking tale of the protagonist being Strangers in their respective marriages.
Strangers is about the emotional turmoil, mind games and a shockingly devious plot that forms the crux of the emotional thriller starring Jimmy Shergill, Kay Kay Menon, Nandana Sen and Sonali Kulkarni.
Sahara One’s Motion Picture was so impressed by the film that it bought the rights and will be presenting Strangers.

Saif Ali Khan Birthday & Raksha Bandhan coincide this year
Actor Saif Ali Khan’s 38th birthday, this Saturday coincided with the festival of Raksha Bandhan. Unfortunately, Saif did not have many of his friends and relatives to celebrate his birthday this time.
“My mom and dad are not flying over from Delhi. My birthday is not such a big deal for me. I’d just be happy to spend it with Kareena (Kapoor) and my kids,” Saif told.
Saif fondly speaks of his sisters, Soha and Saba as he waited for them to tie a Rakhi on his wrist. “Rakha Bandhan is always special for me as my two sisters celebrate it in a big way every year, and this year it is even more special because it also coincides with my birthday. On earlier occasions of Raksha Bandhan, I have always presented them with gifts, but this time I am expecting a gift from them,” Saif said.

Kareena is all set to be seen in an altogether different avtar for Yash Raj Film’s next production. Soon she would be heard as Laila and the film which would be giving her this platform is ROADSIDE ROMEO.
ROADSIDE ROMEO - Well, that’s the first ever animation outing for YRF where Kareena along with Saif Ali Khan would be giving a voiceover for the dogs. In fact it is going to be a Kareena v/s Kareena outing since ROADSIDE ROMEO would be arriving on the same day (i.e. 24th October) as GOLMAAL RETURNS in which she plays one of the leading ladies.
Though the first look of ROADSIDE ROMEO (featuring Saif Ali Khan’s voice) was revealed months back when this Jugal Hansraj film was slated for Summer 2008 release, a delay to Diwali has resulted in the makers arriving with a new promo with Kareena in focus this time around. As Laila, the female dog who comes to give an audition for a heroine’s role, Kareena gets the right ‘ada’ in place to demonstrate the naughty-yet-smart streak.
She doesn’t just tease the casting director with her monosyllabic yet confident replies; she also intimidates him with her smartness. Not just that, she also flutters her eyelashes when the right time arrives and gives a lot more than just a simple message when the director probes deeper into skills. How exactly? Well, she just replies that she knows ‘everything - just about everything’!
Paving a way for far more interesting things to come as the film arrives in entirety; the special promo of ROADSIDE ROMEO arrives along with the just released DVDs of TASHAN and is also expected to be plugged along with the prints of BACHNA AE HASEENO.
ROADSIDE ROMEO is slated to be the biggest animation movie ever coming from the house of Yash Raj Films with music by Salim-Sulaiman. The other star attraction of the film is Javed Jaffrey who also gives a voiceover for a dog.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor as the two are contemplating marriage soon
Wedding bells may not be that far away for actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor as the two are contemplating marriage sooner than the three-four-year target they had set earlier.”Oh yes, much sooner. In fact, people may be hearing an announcement from us very soon. If I had my way, I’d marry her today right here in London where she’s joined me,” Saif said.”Yes, I’m ready to make it legal any time.
In any case, aren’t we supposed to have gone through a secret Muslim marriage?” he says sarcastically about certain media reports.
Saif was married to Amrita Singh and after 13 years of marriage and two children, the couple separated in 2004. After he divorced Amrita, he dated Italian model Rosa Catalano, but broke up with her in 2007.
The romance between Saif and Kareena took off on the sets of “Tashan”. And Saif has never sounded so fiercely committed.
“If I’m sounding that way, it’s because that’s how I feel. With due respects to all the other relationships in life, after my marriage to Amrita and my two kids, this is the most important relationship I’ve had.”
Saif can barely contain his anxiety and eagerness to do the right thing.
“Of course, I’m anxious. You must understand this is the most important part of my life… so much so that at times I find even my career taking a backseat to my relationship. I’ve to guard against that. I must quickly learn to separate the professional from the personal.”
Saif admits it would take his children Sarah and Ibrahim a while to get used to the changes in their dad’s life.
“I’m not going to pretend that my children, Kareena and I have become one big family. They’re intelligent kids with a mind of their own. Sarah is in fact 13 and a lady herself. It would be quite a while before they are fully comfortable with the change in my life.
“They haven’t spent that much time with Kareena to know her as well as I do. But the good thing is everyone close to me realises that this relationship is for keeps, that I’ve never been more serious. Now it’s entirely up to me and Kareena to take the relationship to the next level.”
Saif is upset with reports that he has lately been crowding his ladylove with his attentions.
“Of course, I want to be with her as much as I can. My regret is we can’t be together more often. We are uncannily similar people and I’ve only now begun to understand why I need to be with her constantly. She complements me, as I hope I complement her. So of course, I try to be where she is.”
He dislikes people intruding into his personal life and says: “I understand people want to put our relationship under a microscope. They want to know about our relationship. But there’s only so much that they can know or perceive. What Kareena and I feel for each other, only the two of us know.”

Actress Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar join together
Jab We Met director Imtiaz Ali’s next project for Ashtavinayak Cinevision will feature Akshay Kumar. Imtiaz has a three-film contract with the production house.
It is learnt that Akshay has given his nod for the project. The story is described to be a mature romantic saga with a dose of wit and humour.
Although the script is not yet completed, Akki is going with the track record of Imtiaz post his suceess with Kareena-Shahid starrer Jab We Met.
The source adds, “Kareena Kapoor also has a three-film contract with Ashtavinayak.
Bebo is already doing their next, Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Returns — the sequel to the 2006 comic caper Golmaal. She will feature with Akshay in the Imtiaz Ali film as well.”
Ashtavinayak’s media spokesperson, however, states, “This project is ined up for next year. Akshay Kumar and Imtiaz Ali are definitely on board but we are still in talks with Kareena.
Considering their past working relationship, we are certain that she will give us the nod for this project, too.”
Meanwhile, Imtiaz is shooting in London with Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone for his next, produced by Saif. After London, the film will be shot in San Francisco, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkatta.
Adds the source, “This busy schedule will provide little time to Imtiaz to finish the Akki project. But Ashtavinayak is confident that Imtiaz will pull it off and complete the script of their film simultaneously.”

Bollywood Not in the mood to listen to SRK - Kareena Kapoor
We have not yet received the TRPs of Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? episode of June 14, that features Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor as contestants.
We are not sure if the presence of Bollywood’s hottest couple helped propel the ratings of the show, but one thing is for sure, the audience watching the show on the sets at Film City, did not have a great time at all.
Much to the dismay of the studio audience, host Shah Rukh Khan ordered all the four LCD screens fitted around the sets to be switched off for this particular episode. Why? Because of Kareena Kapoor.
Says an eyewitness, “Ever since the shoot began, Kareena constantly kept looking at the LCD screen to see how she was looking. Shah Rukh observed this and told her that she was looking great, and need not look at the LCD screen every now and then.”
It seems that Kareena was in no mood to listen to SRK. She could not refrain from looking at herself on the screen. “Consciously or unconsciously, she continued checking herself out on all the four screens.
Time was running out and so SRK ordered that the screens be switched off. Only then did they start the shoot,” adds the eyewitness.
And what did Kareena do after that? The insider says, “Well, Kareena had no choice. She had to go ahead with the proceedings. Thankfully, everything went off smoothly after that.”
