New Delhi, (IANS) After giving back-to-back hits like “Namastey London”, “Partner” and “Race”, Katrina Kaif has high hopes from her next venture “Singh is Kinng”.
“I am hoping high for this film - not only is it an important film for me but also because it’s director Vipul Shah’s first film as a producer and I know how much that would mean to him,” Katrina said in a statement.
Directed by Aneez Bazmi, the movie is a romantic comedy about a troublesome do-gooder who overcomes all odds with his positive attitude and human dignity. Katrina teams up with Akshay Kumar in the film. The duo churned out two hits last year - “Namastey London” and “Welcome”.
Her other release slated this year is a musical extravaganza “Yuvraj” with real life beau Salman Khan. She will also be seen in Rajkumar Santoshi’s “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani” where she teams up with Ranbir Kapoor.

The episode of ‘Baa, Bahu Aur Baby’ to be aired at 9.30 pm this August 3 on Star Plus will be extra special and extra-hot with gorgeous Katrina Kaif making a surprise visit to the Thakkar family. The occasion will be Baby’s birthday where the family members will get together and host a surprise Masquerade party for Baby with each of them dressing up uniquely, drawing inspiration from various characters. Katrina will make a surprise appearance in the party taking the opportunity to make the Thakkar family shake it to her upcoming blockbuster Singh is Kinng!!!
