Trisha Pair with Kamal Hassan in Marmayogi

Though it is not official, buzz is that former Miss Chennai glam quotient Trisha will pair with Kamal Hassan in Marmayogi. Last time Trisha had missed Dasavatharam, since she could not accommodate her dates.



However, Jayapradha is the only confirmed actress, who would be playing quite a prominent role. Raj Kamal Films and Pyramid Saimira is yet to make official announcement about the cast and the crew.

Kamal Hassan And Asin to play Japanese Films

It is more expected that Kamal Hassan Jackie Chan will be acting together for a movie but this time with Tadanobu Asano one of the finest actors of Japanese Films. Kamal is keen on preparing busy schedules for the “Marmayogi” movie on the meantime Bharath Bala the producer of A.R.Rahman Musical “Vande Matharam” and “Jana Gana Mana” album had approached Kamal Hassan for a Japanese English based movie.

According to a source the film will be based on 9th century in which Kamal to play the role of Karalipayat(Kerala) Guru and Japanese actor will be playing as his disciple. Actress Asin is likely to play as a Queen falling in love at first sight with young warrior. The movie name is titled as “19 Steps” A.R.Rahman to score the music with Director Cum Producer Bharath Bala. The whole team is waiting for a good reply from Kamal Hassan. If Kamal agrees the film will commence on next year after the completion of Marmayogi.

Kamal Hassan after the commencement of “Marmayogi” controversies started revolving Kollywood industry. The latest buzz is that Kamal Hassan is trying to include his dream project “Marudhanayagam” in the film “Marmayogi”. The Universal actor Kamal Hassan started the Marudhanayagam project in style but can’t finish the project which he likes to do.

The appearance of Kamal and storyline of the new Marmayogi seems that he is sporting “Maruthanayagam” again. Maruthanayagam was a warrior of 18th century and Marmayogi story is based on 7th century. Padmashri Kamal Haasan Marmayogi to Start in Sweden

Turning the entire world towards to his side with the appealing blockbuster 'Dasavatharam', Padmashri Kamal Haasan is set to kick-start with his next project 'Marmayogi'. Kamal Haasan is sure about the film happening to be another magnum opus. In the initial stages, he wanted to launch the film at Grand Hotel, Mumbai on July 13 and then postponed to 25th. Things got delayed since Padmashri was involved in making teaser for the film.

Now, he has planned to start off with the shooting without having a formal launch. First shooting schedule will be held at Sweden where a battle sequence involving huge crowd will be shot. Marmayogi is a tale about a youngster in 7th Century who leads his entire empire to revolt against their opponent who were responsible for the dynasty's downfall. Kamal Haasan says "Marudhanayagam will be soon"

Heaped with laurels for his magnum opus Dasavatharam, Kamal Haasan made his visit to Hyderabad to promote the film. However, he was more enthralled with the fact that the film has witnessed a grand opening, Kamal Haasan was more delighted. Speaking to the occasion, he said that his next project Marmayogi will be more grander than this one. Also when asked about his dream project Marudhanayagam, Padmashri uttered that success of Dasavatharam has really encouraged him and soon after completing Marmayogi, his ultimate project would be Maruthanayagam.
